Through this agreement, the council will continue to promote actions aimed at promoting agricultural activity in the municipality, as one of the axes to stimulate the local economy.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Agrarian Association of Young Farmers (ADEA-ASAJA), have signed a new cooperation agreement through which an individualized service information and advice to companies in the agricultural and livestock sector offers to "continue contributing to economic development of the primary sector in the municipality. "
Thus, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the general secretary of ADEA-ASAJA, Alfonso Gálvez, have signed a new agreement through which the farmers of the municipality have an information service, training, support and personalized advice in the municipal offices of the Esparragal Station.
In this sense, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "in a town like this, in which the primary sector accounts for 55.6% of the working population, it is very important that we give our support, from administrations and from associations, the agricultural and livestock sector to contribute to its modernization.
