The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, met this morning with the president of Transparency Council of the Region of Murcia, José Molina, to launch new lines of action in a coordinated manner transparency.
Specifically, during the meeting, it was agreed the creation of the Municipal Council of Transparency and Citizen Participation of Puerto Lumbreras, the implementation of participatory budgeting and the creation of the post of "Ombudsman".

In this way, the transparency portal now divided into 9 blocks: institutional, regulatory, economic, grants and subsidies, property, procurement, planning and environment, cooperation agreements and information and citizen services.
Citizens can see through this website all information related to public resources and management of the activity of the municipal government as recruitment processes, projects in the pipeline, budgets, inventory of goods and vehicles and urban planning.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, said that "among the new products that we have introduced in this portal recordings are in video of Municipal plenary sessions, remuneration and asset declarations of senior officials. In addition, from now, all cooperation agreements that the City formalizes with other entities are also published ".
It has also made some changes in the design and configuration of the web portal of transparency in order to make it more accessible and useful to users.
