161 schoolchildren from 5th Primary of all schools in the municipality have participated in the "Library Detectives," which has been developed in the Municipal Library of Puerto Lumbreras in order to encourage the habit of reading among children contest.
Thus, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Victoria Jerez, has awarded diplomas to children who have participated in the contest.
Thus children have learned in a fun and entertaining way, the services offered from the municipal network of libraries and their specific funcionamiento.En, the contest involved the formulation of general knowledge questions to different teams of children and girls who have sought answers among hundreds of books from libraries, the winner being the first group to finish with the correct answers.
Note that this initiative has been launched by the City of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Culture.
