The Ministry of Education and Universities has initiated the redevelopment of the center of early education and Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz of Puerto Lumbreras, in which more than 350,000 euros are invested.
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcarcel said that "this is an extension which will install new lines of primary education and make the entire school building cutting-edge, tailored to the needs of schooling".
This action is part of the '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy launched by the Ministry and EU-funded regional development.
an additional floor on the child module will be built to enable seven classrooms of primary education and communicate with a gateway the first floor of the main building and module.
Also, some stairs will be installed adjoining module for evacuation in case of fire.
In addition to the new classrooms a meeting room for teachers, a tutorial, a warehouse and the corresponding toilets, including one for people with disabilities is projected.
On the ground floor of the building layout space it remains unchanged and change the use of the clean room, which happens to be near facilities and house heating with a heat pump system air-water.
The building has an area of ​​559 square meters, which after enlargement will reach 1,169 square meters.
