The beneficiaries of this project are young unemployed registered with the National Youth Guarantee System.
A total of 15 students participating in the mixed employment and training program "Green Port" perform remunerated in the city of Puerto Lumbreras practices.
Specifically, these young people are performing ancillary activities of gardening and maintenance of parks and green areas.
This morning, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Councillor for Employment, Angela Morillas, visited the students who were carrying out pruning work, cleaning, fertilizing and watering in the public park Reina Sofia.
Once the training phase, in which young people have acquired the knowledge corresponding to the specialty gardening, students have been hired for a period of six months, which will complement their education with work and professional practice.
In addition, throughout the project, students receive guidance, counseling and professional information that will enable them both to search for paid employment and for setting their own.
Thus, people hired receive 567.52 euros per month, including proportionate share of the bonus.
It is worth mentioning that the beneficiaries of this project are young unemployed registered with the National Youth Guarantee System.
