This school is to encourage children healthy lifestyles through sports and recreational and creative activities, while contributing to the reconciliation of work and family life of the parents.
More than 140 children and youths up to 16 years have participated during the month of July in this summer school with outdoor activities, organized by the 'I Love Campus' association in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
Also, during the month of August near a hundred new students will participate in the third edition of this initiative.
Students of this school perform sports activities, hiking trails, mountain bike routes, archery, climbing, survival techniques and water activities.
Also, children and youth who participate in this educational initiative and leisure, they also learn the care they require horses and are taught by ropes, which is the discipline or knowledge that studies the art of making knots, their classes and their different applications .
Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, explained that "this summer have increased the supply of summer schools for parents and children to choose the option that best suits their needs."
Thus, Carrillo said "the aim of launching these initiatives is to help reconcile working life of parents with school holidays."
Finally, note that this summer school will continue in the morning from 09.00 to 14.00 during the month of August.
