The Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras held this morning on the day of its Patrons occasion of the celebration of the feast of the Holy Archangels San Miguel, San Gabriel and San Rafael.
The Mayor explained that "with this commemoration we recognize the daily dedication, work and vocation of public service body of the local police".
This morning he officiated a mass in honor of the Holy Archangels San Miguel, San Gabriel and San Rafael in the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church of the municipality, which have come members of the local police to celebrate the day of their Patrons.
The event was also attended by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, the Councillor for Public Safety, Dolores Arenas, and other members of the government team, the post commander of the Civil Guard of Puerto Lumbreras and more than 200 citizens.
The Mayor explained that "with this commemoration we recognize the daily dedication, work and vocation of public service body of the local police".
In addition, Tunisia has continued stressing that "in recent years we have tripled the staff of the local police also increasing the technical means to increase public safety in Puerto Lumbreras".
