A dozen businesses display their products on Avenida Pedro Garcia Rubio with great promotions and discounts.
This morning a new edition of the Trade Fair of Puerto Lumbreras has been inaugurated, organized by the City Council and the Confederation of Aseplu Businessmen, in collaboration with the regional government and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus, the mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, the Director General of Trade and Consumer Protection, Francisca Cabrera, ASEPLU President Juan Carlos Morillas, and the Employment Councilor, Angela Morillas, have opened this fair that has Great opportunities and discounts of up to 60%.
The fair takes place on November 11, 12 and 13 on Pedro Garcia Rubio Avenue, in uninterrupted hours from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Almost a score of shops go out to sell their textile, footwear, food, parapharmacy, appliances, flowers, gifts, decoration, handicrafts and toys, among others.
Mª Ángeles Tunisia has stated that "we have launched this initiative so that merchants can show citizens their products, improve their sales and get new customers."
In addition, Tunisia has indicated that "with this type of initiatives we support the local commerce and we facilitate the lumbrerenses so that they can realize their purchases with promotions and prices more affordable".
As a novelty, various activities have been programmed to stimulate shopping during fair days with concerts, contests, draws, storytelling, children's activities and entertainment.
Today, starting at 18.00 hours, DJ performances will take place.
Tomorrow, from 5.30 pm, the Dog Patrol will walk through the fair grounds and distribute balloons to the attendees.
In addition, that same evening, the local NN Band will perform in concert next to the fair and will be distributed numerous gifts in the draw to be held at 20.00.
On the other hand, on Sunday afternoon there will be a contest for children's drawings and storytelling activities.
To finish the afternoon will be given the prizes of the contest of selfie and more sweepstakes will be made.
The Mayor reminded the lumbrerenses "the importance of buying in small local businesses."
In addition, he highlighted "the trust, friendliness, close treatment and proximity that the establishments of Puerto Lumbreras offer."
Finally, the participating establishments are Almazara San Diego, Bambú Moda y Complementos, Tienda De Nene's, Belen's Fashion, Nano's Fashion-juvenile, Parafarmacia Centro, Euro Coste, Nova Papelería, Larrosa-clothes and pretty things, Greengrocers Olga, Footwear and Accessories Avilés, Carmen fashion, Little pasitos-children's shoes, Gregorio Curtains, M & H- Fashion and complements, Cefe fashions, Juan Domingo Sports, El Pio Automotion and Loma's Restaurant Bar.
