About 13:00 hours last Thursday, local police officers were conducting preventive control of vehicles when they identified two individuals of Romanian nationality who were required for violent robberies.
The agents verified that both had numerous antecedents by crimes of robbery with violence and by crimes against the public order in many cities of Spain.
In view of the facts, the two persons were detained, for subsequent judicial proceedings.
Once the individuals were identified, after consulting the police records, the Local Police officers of Puerto Lumbreras verified that one of them had a request by the German authorities for several offenses against the public order, as well as an injunction by a court of Cordova For the crime of robbery with violence.
The other person also had requisitions for robbery with violence by a court of Cordoba, as well as indications by a court of Asturias and another of Ciudad Real.
The Councilor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas, congratulated the agents for the good work done and noted that "the Local Police is always at the service of lumbrerenses to ensure the safety of all citizens."
