The lumbrerense with Antequera roots Nuria Navajas Rodríguez will be in charge of pronouncing the Christmas proclamation this year in Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, Nuria Navajas has been the person chosen to give the starting signal to the activities that will be carried out throughout the month of December in the municipality, coinciding with the arrival of Christmas.
The proclamation will take place next Friday December 16 at 7.30 pm in the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church.
After reading the proclamation, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunis, and Queen of the Holidays 2016, Alba Garcia, will deliver a commemorative plaque to the preacher.
Nuria, dedicated to teaching professionally, is from Antequera (Malaga) and has lived for 12 years in Puerto Lumbreras.
He is a person closely linked to the traditions of the municipality and has actively participated in the various events that have been held in the municipality in the social, cultural and religious area in the last decade.
The wife of the President of the Autonomous Community is a very dear person in Puerto Lumbreras and is closely linked to the traditions and festivities of this locality.
