The portable bullring installed in the esplanade of the weekly market of La Estación-Esparragal hosted yesterday the celebration of the famous and televised competition Grand Prix.
Thus, more than 900 people gathered at this meeting to enjoy an entertaining afternoon.
In particular, six teams from different locations participated in this competition, in which contestants had to test all their skills to successfully overcome all obstacles.
The spectators enjoyed almost 3 hours of entertainment and laughter with different tests that did not miss the falls.
Councilor of Pedanías, José María Parra, who also attended the event, stressed that "this activity has been a great success, people of all ages and families have completely filled the bullring."
Finally, the "Los Amigos de Pulpí" team won the first prize, the "Los Marineros" team won second place and "Los Picadores de la Estación" won the third prize.
The winner of the first prize was presented with 300 euros and a Christmas basket, the second prize was a ham and 100 euros, the third prize was a ham.
It should be noted that this activity was organized by the Council of Festivities of the Town Hall of Puerto Lumbreras on the occasion of the celebration of the Fiestas de la Purisima of the lumbrerense district of La Estación-Esparragal.
