The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras organized for the first time the Children's Solidarity Race San Silvestre to dismiss the year.
Thus, around 11:00 am, many children gathered on San Francisco Street to participate in this sport competition.
In parallel, the Department of Sports organized a new edition of the traditional Popular Solidarity Race San Silvestre, at 12.00 hours, which involved more than 250 runners.
Both careers were jointly funded and the proceeds will go to Caritas Puerto Lumbreras.
In parallel, the City Council organized charitable children's chimes.
It was a festive day with music, games, activities, workshops, inflatables and entertainment.
When the clock struck 12.00 hours, the children changed the traditional grapes to 12 gluten-free sweets to dismiss 2016. This year, as a novelty, the bells were beneficial.
Thus, each assistant donated non-perishable food for Caritas in a booth enabled for this purpose.
These activities have been organized by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Club Athletics Nogalte, Club Trilumb, Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, Confederation of Businessmen Aseplu, and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs Amel.
