Puerto Lumbreras will host this weekend the Festivities in honor of the Child of Naples, which will take place in his Ermita located in the area of ​​'El Descanso'.
The Fiestas will begin next Friday January 20 with the performance of the Children's Crew of Naples at 20.00 hours, which will liven up the night with parrandas, jacks, malagueñas and trovos.
On Saturday, January 21, the festive program will continue at 8:00 pm with the traditional Gathering of Gangs, in which the crew of Marina Cope (Aguilas), Squadron of Aguaderas (Lorca), Cuadrilla de Santomera (Murcia) and host squad , Gang of the Ermita del Niño.
In addition, the evening will feature the performance of copla singer Marisol Segura, who will also be in charge of presenting the Gang Meeting.
The day of Sunday will begin at 11.30 with songs and trovos al Niño by its crew and at 13.00 hours Mass will be officiated.
At the end of the Mass, the image of the Child of Naples will go on pilgrimage accompanied by hundreds of people.
Finally, at 4:00 p.m., an afternoon of traditional dances will be held by the Children's group and at 6:00 p.m., a Grand Raffle will end and end the festive weekend.
The councilman of Pedanías, Jose Maria Parra, has emphasized that "they are parties deeply rooted in the locality, that each year congregate to a greater number of people of the whole region that look for to spend a different weekend. For his part, the butler of the Fiestas, Antonio Moreno, thanked the Town Hall of Puerto Lumbreras, the collaborating companies and all the people who "in a disinterested way are involved so that each year we can enjoy these traditional parties."
