The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has extended the hours of the Municipal Nursery Network to promote the reconciliation of family and work life.
Specifically, the new opening hours have been set up at the Ana Mª Sánchez nursery, which is open from 07:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at La Estación-Esparragal kindergarten, which opens from 07.00 a.m. 4.30 pm to meet the needs of parents.
The Councilor for Equality and Children, Sonia López, stressed that "the expansion of the schedule has begun by these two centers but depending on the demand this action will also be carried out in the rest of daycare centers in the municipality. The need to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life, while increasing the welfare and quality of life of the families of Puerto Lumbreras.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the Municipal Nursery Network offers dining service, school support classes, ample play areas and rest.
All day care centers in the municipality have a pick-up service and are connected to a public school.
In the same way, the Network offers ample didactic resources for children from 0 to 12 years.
Finally, the Councilor for Children and Equality of Opportunities has invited all families to visit the Network of Nurseries of the municipality to know their facilities and the professionals who work in them.

Children's School La Estación-Esparragal: 07: 00-16: 30
Juan López Children's School: 07:30 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.
Buenaventura Romera Children's School: from 07:30 a.m. to 03:00 p.m.
