The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment will carry out a series of actions to improve the sanitation and purification network of Puerto Lumbreras, which will allow new users to join the hydraulic system.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia, and the general director of Water, Andrés Martínez, have held a working meeting to discuss the actions that the Community will undertake in the coming months.
Specifically, supply actions are focused on improving the pipelines in José Pérez street in the municipality, through the renewal of the supply of drinking water for an approximate amount of 55,000 euros, and which will start next month of March.
Regarding the improvement of the sanitation network, the planned actions contemplate the execution of an investment in new pipes of collectors for an estimated global amount of 223,000 euros.
The investment includes the installation of 600 meters of sanitation pipes of diameter 400 mm in the streets Camino del Tío Félix and Palmar, among others.
All these actions are framed in the II Plan of Sanitation and Depuration of the Region of Murcia of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment.
