This donation has responded to an urgent call made by the Regional Hemodynamic Center due to the lack of blood reserves in hospitals in the Region.
Throughout the morning there have been blood extractions in the hall of the Cultural Center of the municipality.
Thus, of the almost 40 lumbrerenses that came to donate blood, finally 34 were able to participate in this campaign, which contributes to the increase of the hemodonative reserves of the Region of Murcia.
Among the donors was the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, members of his government team, city council workers and numerous citizens.
This donation has responded to a call made by the Regional Center of Hemodonación to citizens between 18 and 65 years of age of all blood groups and especially the lumbrerenses of groups A negative and 0 negative due to the need to increase The demands of blood in the hospitals of the Service Murcian Health.
The Mayor thanked the solidarity gesture of all the people who have collaborated in an altruistic way.
Finally, it should be noted that this day has been convened by the Regional Hemodonation Center and the Department of Health of the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
