Work has already been carried out to improve the sanitation network of El Cabildo.
The councilman of Works, Eliseo Sánchez, explained that "this action benefits almost 50% of the neighbors of the town, since it is one of the main pipelines of the town that transports most of the waste to the treatment plant For their treatment. "
The work consists of the renewal of the sanitation network and the renovation of two existing wells where the junction takes place.
A trench excavation of 70 meters with a height of 1,5 meters has been made for the installation of a new PVC pipe of 500 millimeters in diameter, thus contributing a greater capacity to the network.
In addition, two prefabricated concrete wells with 1.80 meters in height have been installed.
The works for the replacement of the new sanitation network have a budget of 10,156.74 euros by the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
The councilman of Works has stressed that "we continue to improve the sanitation networks of the municipality, in which we have previously performed actions improving more than three kilometers on different streets."
Sánchez also said that "with these actions we optimize our infrastructure and public services."
Lastly, it should be noted that in recent months, work has been carried out on the replacement of sanitation networks in Calle La Verdad, Camino Real, San Francisco Street, Maestra Teresa Navarro Salas Street, Tómbola Street, Plato Street and Socrates Street, among others .
