In this way, talks-colloquioimpartidas have been prepared by the coordinator of the Municipal School Absenteeism Program of Social Services, an agent of the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras and a psychologist specialized in the area.
In addition, these talks are accompanied by the projection of videos with real cases and the testimony in person of a person who dropped out of school at an early age, so that students appreciate the negative consequences of absenteeism.
The Councilor for Education, Sonia López, stressed that "the objective of this campaign is to prevent school absenteeism at the municipal level and to report on the social and educational resources that the City has available to minors and their families to solve this problem ".
Finally, it should be noted that the talks are part of the "Do not let your chair go empty" campaign, and will take place in the four schools in the town and at the IES Rambla de Nogalte throughout the month of March .
