The participating categories are Sub-23, Elite, Master 30, Master 40, Master 50 and Master 60 in the male and female categories.
The Club Veloaventura and the Department of Sports and the City of Puerto Lumbreras are organizing a new edition of the test "Trek 12 hours", which will be held on Saturday 25 March in the municipality.
This sports event, which will start at 11.00 hours, will have the participation of 750 runners in the categories Sub-23, Elite, Master 30, Master 40, Master 50 and Master 60, in the men's and women's category.
The participation in the race with mountain bike is also open to teams of two or four runners male, female and mixed.
All riders on the same team will be identified with the same rider.
In addition, the course of the test will have a distance of 12 kilometers.
The starting line and finish line will be inside the facilities of the Puerto Lumbreras Municipal Sports Center.
During the course of the test the entire route will be open to traffic, so all participants are obliged to respect the traffic regulations, paying special attention to crossings where no preference is given and in joining roads, streets and roads .
Trek 12 hours is an event for fans of all levels to mountain bike.
It revolves around a circuit on which the teams, individual, in pairs or 4 runners, make, during the 12 hours, the largest number of possible turns making relays.
Likewise, an exhibition of cycling schools is also planned for that day at 3:00 pm next to the Municipal Sports Center.
Participating categories will be Promises A, Promises B, Beginners, Fry, Children, Cadets and Fines.
Finally, the councilor of Sports has invited all cycling fans to enjoy this great MTB fund test, which has more participants each year.
