The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, and the president of the Cabildo of Brotherhood Pasionarias, Toñi Navarro, discovered last night the announcing poster of Holy Week 2017. This is a study photograph of the face of the Blessed Virgin of the Dolores, Which appears in the foreground.
The photograph was made by Mais Photographers last year and the design of the poster was created by the lumbrerense artist Marcos Salvador Romera.
The choice of the image of the poster has corresponded to the Cabildo de Cofradías, presided over this year by the Old and Venerable Brotherhood of the Blessed Virgin of the Dolores.
During the presentation of the poster, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras stressed that "Holy Week of Puerto Lumbreras is one of our main signs of identity, as well as one of the most outstanding tourism products of the local heritage.
In addition, Tunisia added that "it is a Holy Week that every year is becoming more relevant. This year has even been present at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid."
The presentation was developed at Nuestra Señora Del Rosario Church and was attended by more than 200 people.
The event was enlivened by the band of drums and horns of the Holy Christ of Faith and Our Father Jesus Nazareno of Puerto Lumbreras.
