The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras will host on Sunday March 26 a Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgin of Carmen, whose benefits will go to the Association Lumbrerense Alzheimer's (ALDEA).
The day will begin with a chocolate joint solidarity at 10.30 hours to benefit the association ALDEA, and at 11.00 hours will be the departure in Romería from the Church Our Lady of the Rosary to Chapel of the Virgin of the Carmen, located in the place of the Tercia .
Attendees will travel approximately 6 kilometers, passing the Vilerda rambla.
The event will also include a Mass in the Chapel of the Virgin at 13.00 hours, and a day of coexistence with paella, musical performances and traditional games.
The Mass in honor of the Virgin of Carmen, patroness of Cabezo de la Jara, will feature the performance of the folk group Coros y Danzas Virgen del Rosario.
Later, a paella solidarity will be realized in the Hermitage of Vilerda, and popular games for the little ones.
The Councilor of Celebrations, Juan Rubén Burrueco, has encouraged all citizens to participate in this solidarity event and stressed that "it is a day of coexistence designed for all families in the town and our districts."
