The Club Veloaventura and the Department of Sports of the City of Puerto Lumbreras have organized a new edition of the test "Trek 12 hours", which is disputed throughout the day in the municipality.
This sports event, which began at 11.00 hours, has the participation of 750 runners in the categories Sub-23, Elite, Master 30, Master 40, Master 50 and Master 60, in the men's and women's category.
The participation in the race with mountain bike has been open to teams of two or four runners, male, female and mixed.
All riders on the same team are identified with the same rider.
It should be noted that the course of the test has a distance of 12 kilometers.
Trek 12 hours is an event for fans of all levels to mountain bike.
It revolves around a circuit on which teams in pairs or 4 riders perform, over the course of 12 hours, the largest possible number of laps making relays.
On the other hand, at 15.00 hours will make an exhibition of the Cycling Schools, next to the Municipal Sports Center, in the categories Promises A, Promises B, Beginners, Fry, Children, Cadets and Féminas.
Finally, the delivery of trophies of the MTB Trek Championship 12 hours will be held tonight at the end of the test, from 23.00 hours.
