The Cabildo of Brotherhood Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the City council of Puerto Lumbreras, has organized the first edition of the Drawing Contest of Holy Week.
"With this contest is intended to collect the impressions and different perspectives of the participants on Holy Week lumbrerense", explained the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez.
Yesterday the awards ceremony was held at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center and the winners were: Álvaro Gallardo García, from the Juan Antonio López Alcaraz School (5th);
Alba Domínguez Carrillo, from the school Juan Antonio López Alcaraz (4th);
And Nuria Guirao Torrente, from the school Sacred Heart of Jesus (2nd).
The jury of the contest was composed by the president of the Cabildo de Cofradías, the Councilor of Culture, the secretariat of the Cabildo and a person linked to the artistic world and the Holy Week of the municipality.
The winners of the drawing contest have obtained an accrediting diploma and a doll that represents each of the Nazarenes of the three guilds of the municipality.
The Councilor for Culture congratulated the winners and stressed that "through this initiative children have the opportunity to offer their vision of Easter, while encouraging artistic creation."
