The House of the Goblins of Puerto Lumbrerasaccelerated last night the inauguration of the exhibition "Encuentros" of the lumbrerense artist Yolanda Martínez.
Numerous citizens, including the councilor of Youth, Andrés López, went to this event to contemplate the works of this young artist.
Specifically, the exhibition is composed of 37 pieces, all of them of small dimensions (34x33cm) and one of larger size (114x44cm).
The technique used in his work is mixed, although it is composed mainly with watercolor and epoxy;
A material that leaves a mirror effect and gives the impression of being methacrylate.
The artist explained that "the works that make up this series speak of encounters that I have come with travels, sunsets, horizons and with the city."
Yolanda Martinez has stressed that "these meetings also show coincidences that are not chance, friendship meetings, people with whom you coincide, those you learn, people who continue in your life. This work is about finding myself, is a Personal encounter both with the work and with myself. "
The exhibition will remain in the House of the Goblins until Thursday 1 June.

In addition, he said that "during 2017 we will continue to develop the cycle of exhibitions of local artists from different disciplines at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center."
Yolanda Martínez is an art therapist and social worker with the soul of an artist.
Passionate from a young age for the art world, in 2006 she began her academic training in sculpture, which complemented with various courses with reputed sculptors.
He soon reappears in this discipline and is granted a scholarship by Bancaja to take a course in Foundry at the University of Chile with Professor Byron Boyd Gomez.
Since 2009 he has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions and in 2015 he holds his first solo exhibition entitled "Excuses".
