The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Safety, has organized a fire evacuation drill in the Day Center for people with disabilities (CIPED).

Finally, firefighters deployed their means to search for the focus of the fire and turn it off.
The Councilor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas, explained that "the aim of this simulation is that citizens learn to react to possible emergencies that require a rapid evacuation, and promote appropriate response habits to follow during a real risk scenario" .
This activity is framed in the Local Emergency Plan and serves to measure and evaluate response times to a possible incident.
In addition, Arenas added that "with the drills we intend to avoid improvisation and obtain a perfect analysis of the suitability or possible deficiencies of evacuation plans."
