The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has begun the works for the renovation of the potable water network in the street Pintor José Pérez.
These actions include replacing the pipes with better characteristics and greater diameter, which will prevent breakages and losses of drinking water.
Specifically, the works include the excavation of a trench of two meters of depth, demolitions, works of concrete factory, assembly of a pipe of casting of 70 meters and paving.
This action aims to improve the efficiency of drinking water supply, by placing new cutting valves for its sectorization, as well as counters for the control thereof.
Eliseo Sánchez explained that "with the execution of this new work, we improve the supply of drinking water, the possibility of increasing the flow rate and the pressure of the network, and will reduce water losses by eliminating leaks in the pipes."
Councilor Eliseo Sánchez explained that "these actions are in line with those recently implemented for the replacement of sanitation networks. We are making a great effort to provide adequate facilities and improve municipal services to all the citizens".
Finally, it should be noted that the budget of the work is € 41,240.84 and its execution period is three months.
