The Department of Sustainable Development has organized a days of revegetation aimed at students of public schools in the municipality, coinciding with the celebration of the Environment Month.
In particular, this initiative has been launched under the motto "In your park or mine" and involve more than 300 children 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Primary.
It is a day of revegetation in which, in addition to planting, children learn how to care for plants and the importance of keeping parks and gardens clean.
During the 1st, 5th, 6th and 8th of June schoolchildren plant trees and forest plants in parks and other public spaces to increase the green spaces of the locality, while reinforcing the children's commitment to the environment.
The places where this initiative will take place are Augusto Vels Park, Casa del Cura Gardens, La Cañada Park, Parque and Esparragal Gardens.
It should be noted that this activity is part of the program designed by the City Council to commemorate the World Environment Day, held on June 5.
The program of activities has the collaboration of CaixaBank, Ecoembes and regional government.
