Puerto Lumbreras has 4 summer schools that will offer diverse activities like horse riding, English, music, water activities and hiking trails.
The Summer Schools will start from the second half of June and will take place during the months of July and August.
Puerto Lumbreras will count this year with four Summer Schools so that the children of the municipality occupy their free time during the period of the school holidays.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, announced this morning that "the enrollment period is already open for any of the four schools that will be held in the months of June, July and August."
The Puerto Lumbreras Summer Schools will offer diverse activities such as horse riding, music games, crafts, water activities and hiking for places of interest in the municipality.
The Mayoress stressed that "the objective is to offer leisure alternatives and free time that promote the personal development of students, help family reconciliation and show the resources of cultural and natural heritage of the municipality."
The Summer Schools will start from the second half of June and will take place during the months of July and August.
On the one hand, the Municipal Network of Kindergartens has organized a new edition of the Bilingual Summer School in the Ana María Sánchez Day Care Center and the La Estación-Esparragal Day Care Center.
From 07:00 hours children can enjoy educational and leisure activities.
Each week, children will learn educational content on different topics.
Among them is the week of the popular festivals of the Region of Murcia, the week of the cinema or the week of science.
This school is designed for children from 3 to 12 years and includes school reinforcement, English classes, healthy habits, study techniques and new technologies.

On the other hand, Puerto Lumbreras will have a Summer School of Soccer for children from 5 to 15 years, to be held from June 22 to June 30.
This educational soccer campus includes beginner training, development and improvement, lucid and leisure activities, pool activities, healthy breakfasts, targeted training of goalkeepers, professional player visits, English classes, fitness classes and buzz.
Those interested in enrolling in this school organized by the Sports Association El Esparragal must do so in the Young Space.
Another option for this summer is the Outdoor Activities Campus, which will be held in the facilities of Sacred Heart School.
This school, which will be held during the months of July and August, has prepared riding lessons, hiking trails, mountain bike routes, archery, climbing, survival techniques and water activities.
Students participating in this educational initiative will also learn survival techniques and will make excursions to Cabezo de la Jara, Castillo de Nogalte or Las Aguilas del Sol Falconry Center. More information at Espacio Joven or at 717 105 684.
The latest proposal is the Summer School organized by the Puerto Lumbreras Sports Association, which will be held from July 3 to August 15.
Children aged 4 to 14, divided by age groups, will carry out sports, aquatic, musical and artistic activities by professors with a university degree.
