All sports facilities in Puerto Lumbreras have equipment and defibrillator cabins, which allows a quick response to possible cardiovascular accidents.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has received a recognition in the National Contest of Shorts "My life in your hands", held in the auditorium Infanta Doņa Elena de Aguilas.
The municipality receives this award for joining the Comprehensive Cardioprotection System, for its commitment to health promotion and for equipping its employees with CPR knowledge to act in the face of an emergency.
It should be noted that the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia (FFRM), installed last April equipment and defibrillator booths in all sports facilities in the town.
The purpose of this initiative is to give a quick response to possible cardiovascular accidents that could happen.
For this, more than twenty people were trained in this subject whose goal is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a first cardiac arrest care, until the arrival of specialized teams.
The National Shorts Contest "My life in your hands" is a non-profit initiative that aims to promote the knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, which allow any of us to save the life of someone with your hands if we know how.
