Yesterday was the closing ceremony of the Socio-Sports School of Real Madrid, which was attended by former player Ángel Pérez.
The event was also attended by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, the Director of the Football Schools, Rafael García, and the Business Area director of Caixa Bank, Mª José Martínez.
This school is aimed at children between 5 and 17 years old and offers the possibility of enjoying a sport that fosters values ​​and integration through the practice of football.
The main objective of the school in which more than 60 children participate is education in values ​​such as self-esteem, autonomy and respect, using sport as a tool for the personal development of young people and promoting integration.
In this way, the Mayor explained that "this school becomes a meeting point for all children, with and without risk of social exclusion, who want to enjoy sports together, improving their quality of life and creating habits Healthy ".
The objective of the Foundation is that all children who wish to enjoy the sport can do it, whatever their conditions and circumstances, with the shield of their dreams.
For all this, the Foundation does not make selection of students, all who want, play and learn, the main objective being their development as people and the integration of minors.
To conclude, Mª Ángeles Tunisia stressed that "once again, the program has been a success, the sport becomes a perfect tool for reintegration, education and solidarity. The activities will resume from October with the beginning Of the new season ".
