The Municipal Band of Music of Puerto Lumbreras has closed the program of the Environment Month with a concert in one of the most central parks in the town.
In particular, the place chosen for the performance has been the new park Augusto Vels, which was recently inaugurated.
Thus, more than a hundred people attended the concert in which more than 30 musicians, led by Juan Agustín Casas participated.
For more than an hour, the Band performed different pieces like "The best of Mancini", "Queen's Park Melody" or "Invitation to the zarzuela".
In addition, they interpreted the Spanish pasacalles "Don Pajarita".
This activity is part of the program designed by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with CaixaBank, Ecoembes, Lirola, Napal and regional government, to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of preserving our environment.
