The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras today launches a new website more modern and accessible to citizens.
This was presented this morning by the councilor of New Technologies, Andrés López.
The councilman stressed that "this is a new web portal more dynamic and functional that presents all information in a clear and orderly manner."
In addition, Andrés López explained that "we have made this change to continue improving communication channels with citizens in a more transparent and adapt to new trends."
The main menu has five tabs, among which is the section of tourism, citizens' actions, city council, press and municipality.
The website incorporates on its home page direct access to the electronic headquarters, transparency portal, bulletin board and job offers.
In this sense, the New Technologies bunker has detailed the numerous advantages offered by the new portal such as carrying out municipal procedures through any mobile device, requesting help, or know the municipal information and the activity of the Consistory.
Citizens will be able to consult all the information related to the public resources and the management of the activity of the municipal government like processes of contracting, projects in process, budgets, inventory of goods and urban planning.
In addition, the lumbrerenses will be able to know the functioning of the governing bodies and be informed about the agenda of a Municipal Plenary or of the Local Boards of Government.
The new page maintains the same domain www.puertolumbreras.es.
All the contents are located in a menu of only two depth levels, which makes it faster to find the contents at a glance.
In addition, the new page has a powerful integrated search engine that allows you to easily locate the contents of the website.
Andrés López emphasized that "the adaptation of the website to mobile devices and tablets has been optimized to bring the administration closer to citizens and have more facilities when it comes to consulting the web site of the city."
Finally, López added that "we have enabled a survey on the web to know the opinion of citizens about the new page with the aim of continuing to improve the information and communication channels."
