Isabel Navarro López studied Magisterium and Pedagogy in Murcia.
Working as a teacher, she also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Romance Philology from the University of Murcia.

She is the author of the book "Eat in the Port", which contains fifty recipes of fifty women from Puerto Lumbreras, the town where she was born.
