The director of the Regional Entity for Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment (ESAMUR), Jesús Artero, met yesterday with the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia, the mayor of Huercal Overa, Domingo Fernández and the deputy Oscar Lidia to address the Construction of a sewage treatment plant in the hamlet of lumbrerense in Góñar.
Esamur will begin studies of possible alternatives for the construction of this treatment plant, which would serve a population of more than 200 inhabitants of the hamlet that share the municipalities of Huercal-Overa (Andalusia) and Puerto Lumbreras (Murcia) shortly.
The station will be designed to respond to the purification of waste water of a population of more than 200 inhabitants and will have the latest technology in processes of purification respectful with the environment.
This action is part of the close collaboration between the two consistories to provide services to the inhabitants of Goñar, among which stand out: Gardening, cleaning, or water supply, among others.
