The Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras has celebrated this morning an act, coinciding with the feast of its patrons, the Holy Archangels Miguel, Gabriel and Rafael.
The day began with a mass at 12.00 in the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Then, there was an act of delivery of decorations in the House of the Goblins.
In this way, three local police officers have received a medal in recognition of their 25 years of service.
The winners were José Antonio Pérez, Miguel Ángel Clemente and Juan José Faura.
Also present was the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas, as well as other members of the Government team, and more than a hundred citizens.
The mayor of the town has highlighted "the excellent work that the Local Police is doing every day to ensure the safety and well-being of all lumbrerenses."
In addition, Tunisia has thanked "its effort, perseverance and commitment with the public service and the common good".
