The City of Puerto Lumbreras is carrying out improvement actions on several rural roads and local streets with the objective of repairing the deficiencies generated in the asphalt and improving road safety.
Specifically, more than 800 square meters of surface are being improved in different streets and roads of the municipality and districts, which have subsidence and potholes.
Councilman Eliseo Sánchez explained that "the repair of the road is necessary because with the traffic of the vehicles had caused some subsidence in certain streets. Extreme temperatures and traffic causes a deterioration in the firm that makes necessary constant maintenance ".
At the moment it is proceeding to the "patching" with concrete projected of the streets that are with defects in the urban center locality.
In the coming days, work in districts and rural areas will continue.
The execution of the project is being developed in parts so as not to affect circulation by the municipality.
Finally, it should be noted that the actions are executed in half a hundred streets and have a budget of more than 7,000 euros, by the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
