The artist Noemí Yepes inaugurated her exhibition "Eka Abassic" at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center in Puerto Lumbreras.
It is a sample, made up of more than a fortnight of large format sculptures, which can be visited until next December 31.
The creator Noemí Yepes presented the exhibitionEka Abassic, composed of sculptures dedicated to women and nature.
His work is inspired by the African continent and his sculptures are made with natural materials such as esparto or sand.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez, was present at the opening ceremony.
The artist explained that "Eka Abassic is a particular vision of art united with a worldview of Mother Earth.In the creation of my pieces I use the woman's body and the connection with the elements of nature, showing in a visible way what we know in a symbolic way, working with natural and recycled materials, as a way to care for and protect the environment. "
This exhibition reaches the town through the Plan of Exhibition Spaces of the Region of Murcia, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, which is attached to the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
Those interested in knowing the sample can go from Monday to Friday to the House of the Elves from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 5 to 8.
In addition, you can also visit on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Noemí Yepes (Blanca, 1994) is a graduate in Fine Arts.
Since 2015 he has made a fortnight of individual and collective exhibitions in different Spanish cities.
His artistic production is centered on sculptural constructions with natural and recycled materials.
