The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a series of actions to improve the sanitation network that connects Almería Avenue and Camino Real Street.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia, and the Councilor for Works and Public Spaces, Eliseo Sánchez, have visited the works to supervise the works that are being executed.
The actions are focused on the improvement of the sanitation network and contemplate the execution of an investment in new collector pipes for an amount of 15,000 euros.
Specifically, a new sanitary sewer that will serve as a spillway will be installed and will prevent a collapse of the sanitation network on Almería Avenue during times of heavy rains, thus favoring the evacuation of wastewater at its junction with the new collector. which was recently built on Camino Real street.
In this way, the Councilor of Works has explained that "a new conduit of 40ml will be placed with a collector of 315 mm, which will allow the correct evacuation of the waters".
In addition, he added that "we have considered it necessary to carry out this action due to the deterioration suffered by the sanitation collector with the passage of time".
