More than fifty people have participated this morning in the climb to the top of the Cabezo de la Jara, organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Activity of the City of Puerto Lumbreras.
The sports day has had its starting point in the esplanade of the Municipal Sports Complex at 09.00.
The traditional climb to the chasm has been divided into two different modalities: hiking and "runners" (running on foot).
This year the sporting event has been carried out in a non-competitive way without dorsal or classifications.
As a novelty, the test has included the possibility of carrying it out in the company of pets.
In addition, rest points have been set to 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers.
The participants, some accompanied by their pets, have enjoyed a journey of almost 13 kilometers through the natural environment of Cabezo de la Jara.
