Those interested in participating in the solidarity race San Silvestre for the benefit of Caritas must register on the same day of the test.
The children of Puerto Lumbreras will say goodbye to the year 2017 with a year-end party that will include children's bells, organized especially for the youngest members of the municipality.
This activity is an initiative of the Department of Commerce of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the association Aseplu, Amel and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
In particular, the children's party will begin at 10.00 am with children's entertainment and popular games.
At 12.00 it will be the turn of the children's chimes in front of the clock of the Parochial Church, located on San Francisco Street.
Minors can dismiss the year with the twelve bells, but instead of taking grapes they will distribute jelly beans.
Next, the show "The Show of Sonia and Miki" will take place.
On the other hand, that same day will celebrate the charity race San Silvestre for children and adults.
The sporting event will be organized by Club Trilum, Esparragal Sports Association and Nogalte Athletics Club, in collaboration with the Sports Department of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this way, starting at 11.00 the II San Silvestre Solidarity Children's Race will be held on San Francisco Street and then the race will be played for the major categories with a distance of 5,000 meters.
It should be noted that there will be a draw for three shoulders, two bicycles and the best individual costume and the best group costume of the San Silvestre race will be awarded.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, has encouraged citizens to participate in this solidarity event and explained that "registration will be formalized the same day of the test and the money collected will go to Parish Caritas."
