The children of Puerto Lumbreras have said goodbye this 2017 with a year-end party with children's chimes.
The party started at 10.00 am with children's entertainment and popular games.
At 12.00 it was the turn of the children's chimes in front of the clock of the Parochial Church, located on San Francisco Street.
The children of Puerto Lumbreras have dismissed the year with the twelve bells, changing the traditional grapes for gummies.
Then, the party with music and animation continued.
It should be noted that this activity is an initiative of the Department of Commerce of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the association Aseplu, Amel and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
On the other hand, this morning also held the charity race San Silvestre for children and adults.
The sporting event, to the benefit of Cáritas, has been organized by Club Trilum, Esparragal Sports Association and Nogalte Athletics Club, in collaboration with the Sports Department of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
At the end of the race, the draw of three shoulders, two bicycles was carried out and the best individual costume and the best group costume of the participants in the San Silvestre race were awarded.
