Tuesday, January 2, 2018. The children of Puerto Lumbreras are enjoying the "Navilandia" initiative during their school holidays.
It is an alternative leisure and free time for children to play while parents and mothers make their Christmas purchases.
This activity is organized by the Department of Commerce and Employment of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the business association Aseplu, association of businesswomen Amel, and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
The initiative is being developed in the courtyard of the Cultural Center of Puerto Lumbreras and in the Lumbrerense hamlet of La Estación-Esparragal.
Navilandia has bouncy castles, popular games corner, reading workshops, painting, balloon twisting, music and sports activities.
The entrance to Navilandia is free and it is acquired when making purchases in the different establishments associated with Aseplu and Amel.
In addition, tickets have been distributed to all the schoolchildren of the municipality in their respective educational centers.
The Councilor for Employment and Commerce, Angela Morillas, explained that "we have installed Navilandia in the urban center of the municipality so that parents can comfortably carry out their Christmas shopping and have a place of leisure and entertainment to leave their children, being supervised by specialized monitors. "
Finally, the councilor stressed that "next Friday, January 5 will be the last day that children can enjoy this playground, which will be open from 10 am to 2 pm in the courtyard of the Cultural Center."
