The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Spaces, has enabled a new parking area next to the weekly market in order to facilitate parking for citizens, improve access to the weekly market and decongest vehicles next streets to the market.
In this way, 80 new free parking spaces have been created next to the weekly market in an area of ​​easy access that will improve the accessibility to the market of all people and especially those with reduced mobility.
The Councilor for Public Spaces, Juan Rubén Burrueco, explained that "this car park is located on the same esplanade of the market, in the fairground at night, and allows lumbrerenses make their purchases more conveniently in the market on Fridays "
To reach the new parking lot, citizens must access the weekly market through Barranco Street and cross the Medina Nogalte tourist area.
