Hundreds of ESO, Bachillerato and Vocational Training students have participated in the workshops and competitions organized by the different departments.
As every year, the IES Rambla de Nogalte Institute in Puerto Lumbreras celebrates the festival of Santo Tomás de Aquino with an intense program of activities, which has made this day one of the hallmarks of the center.
Hundreds of ESO, Bachillerato and Vocational Training students participate in the workshops and competitions organized by the Institute, through its different departments.
In particular, they have organized tattoo workshops, aromatic candles, elaboration of giant soap bubbles and personalized pots.
In the same way, the students have made a recreation of the "Pasapalabra" contest, they have participated in a mathematical gymkhana and they have made a resolution tournament of Rubik's cube.
In addition, a contest of English cakes and desserts, a competition of spontaneous verses and a chess tournament has been developed.
On the other hand, sports competitions have been held, putting the finishing touch to this day the football match between teachers and students.
It should be noted that the guidance department has enabled an information booth with youth correspondents throughout the day.
Thus, these young people have been responsible for informing their peers of the calls, available resources, leisure activities, as well as training courses, scholarships or links of interest for the young people of the educational center.
