Through the "Lumbreras Emprendedora" and "Lumbreras Cleaning" projects, two administrative assistants and three cleaning workers will be hired for 9 months.
The Department of Employment of the City of Puerto Lumbreras will soon start two employment programs "Lumbreras Emprendedora" and "Lumbreras Cleaning", which will allow the hiring of unemployed people in the municipality.
Specifically, through these projects the Consistory will hire two administrative assistants and three cleaning pawns for 9 months.
The two administrative assistants will be full time and will provide support to the technicians of the Department of Employment to promote actions that encourage entrepreneurship, job counseling and the implementation of training plans.
The amount of the subsidy amounts to 28,036.08 euros.
On the other hand, two day laborers will be hired full-time and a part-time cleaning laborer to develop a Special Cleaning and Disinfection Plan in public facilities of the municipality.
The amount of this subsidy, by the Regional Employment and Training Service, is 39,306.15 euros.
The Councilor for Employment, Angela Morillas, stressed that "with the implementation of these measures we contribute to maintaining the trend of reduction in the unemployment rate, which currently stands at 7.83%, well below the rate regional and national ".
The office of the Employment and Training Service of Lorca, according to the profile requested, is the one that conducts the survey to carry out the pre-selection of the possible candidates available.
The councilor explained that "this process has already been carried out, we are currently in the process of selection based on the candidates sent by the SEF." The scheduled date for the start of this program is March 31. "
On the other hand, it should be noted that the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will also launch soon a new mixed employment and training program "Medina Nogalte", which will allow the hiring of 18 unemployed people between 25 and 54 years.
This mixed program will consist of cleaning tasks in streets, parks and gardens of the historic center, urban center and districts.
In addition, the program also includes washing and disinfection work in public buildings and industrial facilities for the improvement of health, hygiene and quality of life conditions for Lumbrerenses, as well as urban environmental quality.
