The Councilor for Sports of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, Juan Rubén Burrueco, the president of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, Sergio Martinez, and the president of the Sports Club Bicilocura, Juan Terrones, have presented the test 12 hours Puerto Lumbreras Bicilocura which will be held on March 17 from 10.00.
As a novelty, this year's 12-hour event will be a regional ultramarathon championship for the individual category runners.
The registration period, which continues open, will end on March 15 at 24:00 or when there are 400 confirmed teams.
Those interested in registering for the test must fill out the form provided by the organization in www.cronomur.es and pay the corresponding fee.
All the runners of the categories Sub-23, Elite, Master 30, Master 40, Master 50 and Master 60 in masculine, feminine and mixed category will be able to participate.
Teams of two or four components in male, female and mixed category may also participate, with current possession of the RFEC license for the year 2018. Likewise, persons who register with a specific license in the RFEC may participate for the day of celebration of the event.
The course of the test will have a distance of 12 kilometers.
The start and finish line will be at the Sports Center of Puerto Lumbreras.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, stressed that "during the course of the test, the entire route will be open to traffic, so all participants are required to respect traffic regulations, paying special attention to crossings where do not have preference and in the incorporations to roads, streets and roads ".
The Councilor for Sports has encouraged fans of the cycling world to participate in this endurance event with mountain biking and highlighted that "the course is designed to be able to keep going for 12 hours. It can be done on the bike and it has a mix of track and easy trails with a difference of 200-300 meters ".
All the participants who have formalized their registration, must present themselves to collect their bib number, sign the necessary documentation and receive the complementary instructions of the organizer in the race office on Friday, March 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the same Test day from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., in order to verify the license by the Technical Jury designated by the FMC.
The final classification of the lap will be determined based on the number of laps completed per team.
In case of a tie in number of laps, the team that passes through the finish line in first position on the last lap will win.
The times will be taken by the judges and timekeepers of the FMC who, likewise, will make the official classifications of the race.
Finally, it should be noted that the fourth "Kids series FCRM" circuit test is scheduled to take place that same day from 3:00 pm.
The participating categories will be promises, beginners, fry, children and cadets.
