Puerto Lumbreras presented last night the poster of Holy Week 2018 with the image of the Virgin of the Rosary and the Most Holy Christ of the Faith, holder of the RealeIlustreCofradía of the Most Holy Christ of the Faith and Mary Most Holy of Mercy, which this year holds the presidency of the Cabildo de Cofradías.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Túnez, and the president of the Cabildo de Cofradías Pasionarias, Joaquín García, discovered the poster announcing Holy Week.
The poster shows a photograph, made by Moman Estudio Fotográfico, with the image of the Holy Christ of the Faith and the image of the patron saint of the municipality, the Virgen del Rosario, dressed in mourning.
The president of the Cabildo de Confraternias Pasionarias de Puerto Lumbreras, Joaquín García, explained that "the reason for combining the two images in the same poster is none other than to make known two of the most outstanding characteristics of our Holy Week. that all the lumbrerenses brothers feel identified, independently of the brotherhood to which they belong ".
The president of the Cabildo added that "in the poster appears the image of Christ on the cross and, at the feet, his mother, the Virgin of the Rosary, crying with pain and sorrow for the death of his son."
Finally, it should be noted that the proclamation of Holy Week will be on March 17 at 7:30 pm at the IglesiaNtra.Sra.

This year, the proclamation will be in charge of Pedro José Quiles, one of the founders of the Real eIlustreCofradía del Santísimo Christ of the Faith and Holy Mary of Mercy.
