Teachers and students of the Municipal Nursery Network have participated during the last days in different evacuation drills with the objective of controlling the efficiency and effectiveness of the emergency plans.
Members of the Emergency Services and Civil Protection and Local Police agents also participated in the drill to verify that the regulations were correctly followed.
The Councilor for Education and Childhood, Sonia Lopez, explained that "the drills are held on a regular basis in all public nurseries in the municipality in order to have a more skilled and informed about the different security protocols and fire prevention and other types of incidents. "
Finally, Sonia Lopez stressed that "with these simulations we intend to avoid improvisation, encourage appropriate response habits to be followed during a danger scenario and obtain a perfect analysis of the suitability or possible deficiencies of the evacuation plans."
