The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras hosted this weekend the VIII National Canine Championship in which more than 200 specimens of 50 races gathered.
The councilman of Sports and presidents of associations and canine federations inaugurated the competition with the traditional ribbon cutting.
This national championship, which is scoring for the regional, admitted copies from four months.
Specifically, the classes that participated were very puppies, puppies, young, open, champions, veterans, couple and breeding group.
The evaluation was carried out by three judges of recognized prestige: Juana Díaz Carmona, Yolia Popova and Armando Paz.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, stressed that "citizens have had the opportunity to see specimens born both in Spain and in other countries, many of them national and international champions."
The event was held at the Municipal Football Field and was organized by the Cabezo de la Jara Canine Association, Murcia Canine Society and Bóxer Club España, in collaboration with the Sports Council of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
In parallel, the XIV Regional Monograph of Puerto Lumbreras was held, in which more than 100 copies from all over Spain participated.
The meeting was attended by Philippe Jouaille to judge the males and Carolina Olivares as judge of the females.
Thus, the best absolute copy was a boxer born in Romania whose owner is the Sevillian Joaquín Martín Jiménez.
On the other hand, the best absolute youth was Romeo D'Alan Box by Alberto de la Cruz.
Finally, the best absolute puppy was Oda de Algucarri by Óscar Alcorta, and the best female absolute cub was Dakota del Rocho by Eduardo Javier González.
