Jorge García from the Juan Antonio López Alcaraz, Sebastián Mejía and David Martínez schools, both from the Asunción Jordán school, were the winners of the second edition of the Holy Week Drawing Contest.
More than a hundred children have participated in this drawing contest with free technique, organized by the Cabildo de Cofradías Pasionarias of Puerto Lumbreras in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez, explained that "with this activity we intend to collect the impressions and perspectives of the little ones on Holy Week, at the same time that artistic creativity, culture and our traditions are encouraged".
The awards ceremony was held at the Casa de los Duendes and was attended by the presidents of the three brotherhoods, the mayor of the town and the councilor for Culture and Tourism.
The winners of the contest have obtained a diploma and a gift related to the Semana Santa from Lumbrerense.
